Missing Comments

Hi there,

One of my clients is having issues with their site, and after troubleshooting I couldn’t find a solution. A large number of their blog posts have comments allowed (as well as comments enabled in Discussion), however the comment area is not visible. I’ve set up a testing environment and removed all plugins, cached information, and custom CSS/PHP/JS. The comments still don’t show up while using Pro, however they appear when using a different theme. I’ll add the URL and login to a secure note on this post.

Hi @sevenagesdesign,

I’ve checked some of your posts and check if there is a comment section and the comment section is just there but on this page https://staging.raleighmag.com/2020/06/protests-and-unrest-three-nights-in-downtown-raleigh/ the comment section is gone.

The reason why the comment section on that page is not visible is that in your Settings > Discussion, you set that it will automatically close comments on posts older than 28 days, you need to unchecked that option for you to see the comment section on that post.
