Missing and unable to import slider revolution file on church demo theme

On the Church demo I am getting the error above. I had previously not activated the revolution slider, so I activated the slider, deleted all posts and pages, reimported the church demo data, but still get the above error.

I then downloaded the slider file from your dropbox and tried to import it. When I try and import I am getting an error message: Error: slider_export.txt does not exist! However the file is in the zipped file.
Using a mac and Safari.

Please help

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? Please provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Hi there,

For some reason which I think is related to your hosting service provider which prevents the Revolution Slider importing process, the slider was not available for you.

I installed the Church demo on my local installation and all the stuff added including the Revolution Slider with no problem. Then I exported that very same slider and imported via the file to your installation. Now you have the slider at hand.

So in order to get the correct Church Revolution Slider, I need to set up the theme locally, add the Church demo data and then export the home page slider?

Its just that the slider installed is not the church demo one

Hi There,

You are right, just install the theme and demo data in local. No need to export entire page. just export the Rev slider and import it to your live site.
just create a slider in live site and import the exported file from local.

Thanks, but still no luck. I have created a localhost and set up the theme. Activated the plugins, installed the demo data, but still get the same issue when i try and run the home page, or import the slider.
