Hi, I am transferring content from one Pro site to another Pro site (fresh install). I transferred the theme and the pages so far but the COLORS saved in the theme did not come through. Are they stored in the database?
thanks
Hello @clefler,
Thanks for writing in!
The colors are stored in database under the wp_options table with cornerstone_color_items as the option name.
Thanks.
great thanks, would you happen to know a way to selectively export/import items like that instead of the whole database…without knowing mysql?
Hi @clefler,
Are you referring to the colors that are set on Theme Options? Colors that are set in Theme Options will be included if you import the Theme Options settings (PRO > Validation > Theme Options Manager > Export)
However, if you’re referring to the colors that are set on Color Manager, regretfully there is no way for importing it (we will add that as a feature request though).
We do not recommend the database importing unless you know what you’re doing, it can break your site. What we can advise is to set those colors manually to your new site.
If you’re planning to do a complete clone of the site, please follow our migration guide instead.
Cornerstone / Content Builder - Migration
That should import everything from the database.
Cheers!
Ok thanks
I was referring to the color manager. So will the font manager also have a future way to export?
Hey @clefler,
Yes, the color manager and the font manager have been added in our enhancements lists.
Please bear with us. Thank you for your understanding.
