Migrating away from X theme

Question. I’ve just started using X theme and pro. But I’ve read from articles like the one below where it could be difficult to transition your client’s site design to a different theme once you have the whole site up and running with X theme. Basically site becomes a blog of code if you uninstall the theme because it’s all shortcode driven.

Will the same thing happen with x theme if one of my clients decides to switch in the future?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! That’s how most of the advanced themes out there work. If you’re using X, you need X theme and Cornerstone activated to function your site properly. Basic WordPress pages and posts you can migrate using WordPress import/export tool.
