Migrate to another server

Hello

I am doubting about migrating my x theme installation and site i’ve built with it (so my entire wordpress instalation) to a new host. I’ve read the migration kb but it says it doesn’t involve migrating your whole wordpress e.g. posts. you say i have to go to another site for that. However, i haven’t found an article on the internet concerning a full migration from x theme. i am do not know anything about php so i really don’t want to mess my site up. Can someone please explain me how i should do a FULL migration (so not just on my server but on a complete other server with another (temporary) domain).

Hi There,

There won’t be any issue migrating a site from one location to another or another domain.
if your domain or URL changes then you have to search and replace the URL with new URL in the database. For that, you can use any third-party plugin.

Please check this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/ which may help you to migrate your complete setup to a new server.
Please take a complete backup of your website before migrating to avoid any damage.
