Our page was built some years ago and left from there, now with inactive license. We are running X-Pro Version: 1.0.4 right now which seems to have trouble with newer WP versions. From what I read should nowadays X be all we need so we bought an X license- question is how to migrate old content properly or is X-Pro required nevertheless to even do so? If X-Pro is required then we have to upgrade here, but more important is that we get our stuff running and can update it again with a current version. Please advice.
Hi Nils,
Thank you for writing in, Its not really necessary to switch from PRO to X. Is that the site in question below? If so, I see that site is built on PRO, so you should stick on PRO, do you still have the license for PRO? I don’t see it on your account, but you should use that.
The real issue here is your PRO version 1.0.4 is become outdated and can not do the AUTOMATIC UPDATE. So you should do the MANUAL UPDATE.
How to Perform a Manual Update
Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!
