Meta data on The Grid

Hello,

Is it possible to add an ACF Field Meta data on a The Grid element?
For example, i have one meta data called PLACE (place where an event occurs) and i want to show this information on the grid elements.
If so, how can i do this?

Thanks for writing in!

I just took some research and unfortunately, ACF Field Meta Data isn’t compatible with The Grid element. One of these: https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/acf-pro-with-thegrid/

You can however use Essential Grid as they handle meta data easily. You can add content in your posts and Essential Grid will retrieve the information for you. Please check their documentation.

Hello,

I’m having some difficulties with the meta data / meta keys.
To make sure i’m not missing anything, here’s what i did till now:

• Created one group of fields (meta keys?) to apply to all my post - LOCAL, DATA, HORA (in english, are fields to write local, day and hour of the events that we’re publishing). This fields were created with ACF;

• Then i made 4 posts as example using the

• I used The Grid and successfully put the posts information in the DATA meta key sorting;

  Then i tried the same thing in Essential Grid, but i found no way to:

• Sort posts by DATA meta key;

• Put information of the meta keys in the Grid (like we put the Title, the excerpt and so on…);

  Is it possible for you to give me some guide lines?

Hey @nualexan,

I tried replicating the setup but this looks like it is still not possible like in the thread @jumar posted previously. Also, you can only use simple field values like text and number. Other values are not compatible yet.
