Menu/Submenu Hover Effect stuck on active

I have a custom header and custom footer, both having one menu with submenus in it. For whatever reason, this one menu is stuck on the hover/interaction color on both the header and the footer. Any ideas how to fix this? I am using X Pro theme.

I uploaded a screenshot of the header. The “home” menu should be red because it is active, but the “programming” menu is always stuck on red when I preview it live.

That’s because you have “Current Link” option enabled in the menu settings:

I suggest editing this “Programming” menu item and make it a custom link which links to just #:

This should resolve this issue.
