Menu loads with wrong font, slowly, then changes to correct font after many seconds

Hello,
My menu bar loads very slowly, with the wrong fonts, then after many seconds, the correct font loads. I don’t see anything like this on any themeX sites i look at.
Does anyone know:
A) why this is happening
B) what to tell a coder exactly to fix
