Menu item that has no link

Hi there. I have set up a nav menu, and one of the menu item is called Forms, which has a list of sub items under it, linking to different forms. I have set up the Forms menu item by creating it a custom link, but I don’t want the word ‘Forms’ in the menu to be a link. Can you please let me know how this can be done?

FYI, I have tried putting “javascript:void(0);” as the custom link, but if “Forms” is clicked on tablet and mobile it comes up with:
“Cannot Run Script
Safari cannot run the script because JavaScript is not allowed to be used this way.”

Thanks for your reply. As this is apparently a device issue it doesn’t fix the problem. Are there other solutions to prevent menu items from being links?

You can leave the “href” field in your menu item as blank.
