Menu issues in mobile view

Hi Guys,

Can you please look at the following site on a mobile phone and tell me why the third tier sub menu items will not expand on the phone. The first child menu expands it is the child of the child that do not.

Services > Crisis and Outreach > subpages under this level do not.

Thanks for writing in! I have tested your site on mobile and I could not replicate the issue on my end.

Could you please try clearing your browser cache and re-test the issue again and see how it goes. If you’re still having issues, let us know the mobile OS and the browser that you have tested.

It works when you test it in the theme on a desktop. It does not work on my iphone 8 or the clients iphone using safari. Please advise.

It seems that you have installed WP Autoptimize plugin. After doing any of the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And also, please clear your iPhone 8’s browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.

Hi @kstidham,

Try adding a URL or hash, adding empty HREF or URL will result to <a></a> which isn’t working in iOS (it became just a text instead of link). How about adding # link for those menu items with child?

I added a hsah and it opens the third tier. never had it happen since no # opens the immediate child level without issue.
