Memory Issues on Pages in WordPress

I’m working with a client who is hosted on your site. We are having memory issues with the site and not able to access or edit certain WordPress pages.

Is there a way to get FTP access to the site?

Also, what is your default memory for the WordPress install, in the config file?

Can this be increased to see if it resolves the memory issues?

Hi @jswoolf

Upon checking your account you have 4 hosting services with us, so I am not sure which account you are referring to.

To Find the FTP details you need to click on Details | Services

I don’t recall any complaints of customers regarding memory limit on our hosting.

In anycase, would mind adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line

/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Here you have a video tutorial in any case:

Let us know how it goes, if you need assistance, please let us know which service you are referring to. If the issue persists after you added the code above, please contact us and provide your WP Admin credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Thanks

Sorry, we are new to your hosting. Where do we find “Details, Services” to find the FTP information? We are clicking on account and cannot find it.

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

If you log in to your hosting panels, you’ll see a DETAILS button and there, clicking it will direct you to the page where you can copy the sFTP login credentials. And click Show to display the sFTP password. You also have multiple sites there, what specific site has this issue?

Plus, our hosting already has 256mb memory allocation and should be enough. Please provide the specific site’s URL that has this issue and latest admin login credentials in a secure note, then I’ll check the editing issue that you’re getting.

Thanks!
