Memberpress Custom Account Page in Pro

Hi!

According to Memberpress, it is possible to build a custom account page, and other required pages, with Page builders like Pro.

They say this:

Keep in mind that if you are hoping to use a custom page builder to customize this page you will have to use the [mepr-account-form] shortcode in one of your content blocks for it to display how where you need it.

When the “Account” page is generated first time, it contains the registration form and other elements.

When I choose to edit it with Pro, I can create the custom page and add the form myself with [mepr-account-form] shortcode.

But, the originally generated account content still remains on the Pro page, at the bottom. I guess activating Pro should override the generated content, not creating duplicates.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Hold on, why would I auto-generate it in the first place?
I’ll create a Pro page, and assign it later. Sorry.

EDIT: Nope, still no luck. As soon as I assign the page, it adds the registration form to the bottom of the Pro page, so the issue still stands.

Hi,

If you want to create a Custom Account Page no need to assign the page.
You just need to use the shortcode to display the form.

Thanks

Hmmm ok.

I figured that the Assignment is mandatory, so MemberPress can know where it is, in various situations when it has to redirect to it.

I’ll try that, thanks!
