Hello,
I am unable to access the media library when editing a post.
Images can be uploaded to the body, but not from the media library.
Featured Images cannot be uploaded at all.
This has been an issue since early December 2018.

The issue only occurs when the x-child theme is active.

Did you add any customization in the child theme that might have caused the issue? If so please try removing the code.
You may also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
