Media Library "Copy URL" Button Not Copying

When accessing the Media Library within Cornerstone, when I click on the media item and try to “Copy URL”, it doesn’t copy the URL. Only copies if I select the URL in the box and copy it.

This has been broken for a while now and I just thought it would get fixed. Here is the video showing what is happening:

Also… the file I am uploading is 1.6MB and I keep getting this error. It was a PNG. I had to reduce it to 787KB jpg.

Hello @Kev,

Thanks for writing to us.

I would recommend checking the PHP upload_max_filesize and post_max_size values on the server. You can also contact your hosting provider to confirm that these limits are configured appropriately.

For the Copy URL of the media file. We need to check your settings. I would request you please share the admin login details. Meanwhile, I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings. Please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Just real quick here… I am not referring to uploading the 1.6MB file on my site. I am talking about on my support post in the themeco forum.

Also, the Copy URL issue ONLY happens with accessing the media files through Cornerstone. When accessing the Media files in the WP admin area, it works as it should.

Hello @Kev,

I tested it in my local environment using WordPress 7.1 and the Pro theme 6.9.2, and it is working correctly on my end. I would suggest you please clear your browser cache and recheck it again.

Thanks
