I am using MEC to process event payments. But I require everyone who signs up to make an account. Basically not allow guest processing. Now I’ve turned it off so that any products can’t be purchased without making an account as well but via MEC you can pay and everything without that process.
Now, with the details from MEC and their payment, an account is made, but what happens is that customers complain that they don’t have an account. They don’t realise that an account is made for them attached to the email address they purchased with but because they never manually went through the process, they never put in the email address they wanted to use for their account nor did they put in a password. So what they have to do is go through the process of ‘forgotten password’ which is a headache.
also, I’ve turned on ‘Smart payment button’ on my woo commerce option but that is bypassed when purchasing a ticket via MEC.
A solution would be to somehow have it direct to /checkout/ page and not /checkout/order-pay/ which is where it goes.
