MEC version stuck at 6.5.3

Hello, all of my sites that have Modern Events Calendar are currently version 6.5.3, but the latest version is 6.5.9
I tested with a development site and installing MEC through Pro dashboard installs 6.5.7
Any thoughts as to why I cannot at least update to that version?

Thanks for writing in!

To get your issue resolved, please go to the Plugins section and find the Modern Events Calendar plugin. Temporarily deactivate the plugin and then it will allow you to update to the latest supported and available version in our Themeco repository which is 6.5.7.
