MEC slideshow above masthead?

[yingfuli]

Hi,
Just wondering how I could get the ME Calendar slider view above the masthead instead of the regular sliders like Revo and Layer?

Thanks in advance!

Hey @yingfuli,

This would require the use of X masthead action hooks like this.

add_action('x_after_masthead_begin', 'mec_slider', 999 );

function mec_slider() {
	echo do_shortcode('[MEC id="90"]');
}

It would be best that you use Pro though because you can simply add MEC’s shortcode to a Text element.

Thanks.
