MEC Search Functionality

​​​I am hoping to either get this fixed or have this be a feature request:

When using the search bar on the MEC, if you search for an event that is not within the current month, the calendar goes blank and stays on the current month: https://prnt.sc/nl5n4h.

If you know to scroll ahead to next month or the month that the said event is in, then it appears ​https://prnt.sc/nl5naw. The issue is that if someone does not know when the event is happening when the calendar goes blank after using the search feature, one may assume this is a broken feature.

I would love to see that if you are searching for an event, it would jump to the event in the month that it is happening.
