MEC plugin not updating

Hi,

I have a client who is using Modern Events Calendar, and some functionality is not working such as payments. I’ve contacted their plugin developers and they say it is because the plugin is not updated to the latest version (6.6.12 to 6.8.10).

However when trying to update to the latest version I am presented with the error “Update package not available.”

This has happened on the clients site and a brand new test site I have set up.

I would like to download the most recent plugin files so I can reinstall the plugin, however I would have to pay for access to the Pro MEC plugin to do that.

Can you please let me know if there is a solution to this? Or if I would have to pay for the pro version just for the payment functionality to work again?

The latest supported version of MEC plugin is up to 6.6.12 version only. You can check it here:

Our developers are still testing for compatibility and conflicts with the MEC 6.8.10 version. Once testing is done, it should be available in our Themeco plugin repository anytime soon.

Hello, what is the timeline for the update to be released? This is many versions old and this is the same updated provided to another user nearly a month ago. Any indication on timing would be greatly appreciated.

Update for MEC is going up now. You should be able to upgrade within the day. Let us know if you have any issues.
