On the monthly view on MEC would it not make more sense to show all the events for the month on the right instead of just the event that occurs on the highlighted day? If I click on the specific day than the item shows in the list on the right.

Thank you for your suggestion. The MEC plugin does not have such a feature at the time being. We will open up a Feature Request regarding this.
Please kindly consider that we are not the developers of the MEC plugin. Although we will open up a feature request but the decision and implementation of that are outside of our hands and depend on the developer of the plugin.
