MEC Hides Event Title of Repeating Events

I’ve reached out to the developer with no luck. Wondering if someone here can help. I’m trying to use the Monthly View with the Novel style. The issue is that for some of the repeating events, the title only shows up on the first occurrence of the month. The remaining occurrences are blank. Check out this page (blank events on 2/21 and 2/23):

I’m hoping I can just add some custom CSS that forces the calendar to display the name of an event whether it’s repeating or not.

This plugin is SO CLOSE to doing what I need.

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible with just CSS. What’s a need for this is PHP and javascript coding in which we’re not familiar with. It’s the limitation of the MEC plugin, all we could do is forward this as feature request.

Have they said it’s not possible?

They haven’t said it isn’t possible yet. When I asked they just pointed me to a section of their documentation that didn’t help at all.

Would you mind providing a link to that documentation so we can take a look? This looks like a bug.

In the meantime, to make sure this is not a plugin conflict, please clear your caching plugins and do a test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
