Hello,

Modern Events Calendar fails when I try to update it. I shouldn’t have to uninstall and reinstall every time should I?

Thanks for reaching out.
The supported version for Moder Even Calendar is 7.27.0, and that is available with the Theme Bundled. If you are not able to update to its latest supported version, please check if your theme is already validated. If not, please validate it first. If already validated, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I just thought about this, the theme has to be updated before the new bundled update is available for download correct?

Hi Melanie,

Yes, that will be available. If you still find the issue after updating the theme, please deactivate and delete the plugin and re-install it from the Bundled Plugin list.

Note: Please take a full backup before deleting the plugin. This ensures you can restore your site if anything goes wrong.
