MEC Calendar not secure?

I added the shortcode yesterday for a website client and now only on certain events, we are getting the ‘not secure’ https://prnt.sc/jcf6ep alerts. It is not on all events, but most. Can’t seem to locate anything different from the events that would cause the URL to auto input the https URL versus the http.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, I see that your issue is related to your SSL certificate. Basically your certificate is not for the domain that you have specify, so it could be one of the issues that you’re experiencing.

That makes sense.

Would there be a reason why this specific issue started today and hasn’t occurred previously at all? The only thing that was changed on this page was the MEC calendar shortcode being placed into the section on the events page, it previously had just the Event Calendar.

Why would this redirect to the https when we don’t have the SSL?

I hear you, one good way to know if there is a conflict between the theme and the plugin is to revert back to the default WordPress theme for a minute, just to check one of these events URL and confirm if it’s redirecting to HTTPS version or HTTP, if it’s the same behavior on the default WordPress theme, then most probably this is something related to the server configuration and WordPress settings, you need to report this issue to your hosting provider.
