Material Icons used in Menus using the graphic setting

Hi there,

Regarding putting icons into menus such as this post here: I can't change the menus Icons

Is it possible to add material icons (from Google) this same way? I have imported them via css site wide already and have added them by placing their code in the text section of the menu items, however if they could used like the above setting that would be ideal, as in some cases I would use the menu with and without the icons.

Thanks for writing to us.

By default, there is no option to insert or import icons to the theme, it would require custom development. In case you have imported through the Custom CSS code then you can add the add the custom HTML markup to the menu items label. For example, I am importing the one material Google icon through the link CSS and then added the custom HTML markup to my menu item.

Please note if you add this markup to render the icon, it can not be controlled from the menu element settings.
