Mass create Portfolio Items as Pro/Cornerstone content, from file import / upload

Hi there,
Is it possible to mass create portfolio items (as Pro/cornerstone content) from a file upload?
I have a load of data in XLS and would like to be able to import and each row create a new Portfolio Item with, for example, each row of imported data and its mapped columns/fields :

  • assigning Portfolio categories and tags
  • assigning the title, and excerpt
  • creating a cornerstone section/row/single column
  • with populated text field(s)

I understand it can be done with standard Wordpress posts (with soething like “wp ultimate csv importer”), but i’d like the resulting Portfolio items to be able to be edited with Pro/Cornerstone.

Or, Is there a way to mass import/upload to create standard Wordpress Portfolio Items and then mass convert to Pro/Cornerstone content?

Hello Simon,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we do not have a feature that allows us to do a mass create portfolio items. Be advised that you can only edit pages, posts, or portfolio items with Cornerstone. Editing this outside of Cornerstone may corrupt cornerstone data and may no longer be editable with Cornerstone.
