how do i create margins for the accordion to bring the content inside the accordion to the same parameters as the rest of the content on the page.

Are you using the accordion shortcode to add it on the page?
If so, you can add the style option to the shortcode like:
[accordion id="my-accordion" style="margin: 0 40px"]
