Margin issue on Mac (PRO)

Hey guys, i’ve been having this exact issue on a lot of pages. this issue though is only showing on MACS.

this seems to happen when the height is set to automatic, and it happens on other cases where there’s text and something else below it. is this a known issue, an error on my part, or what? i’m pulling my hair here because i can’t find a pattern where it appears and i don’t have a mac so i can’t test for myself (the mac emulators i use, do not show me any error but when my client sees it, that’s how it looks)

Thanks for writing in! I have tested your site on a Mac using Safari, Firefox and Chrome but I could not see any issue as you have mentioned. Refer to the screenshot below.

In my opinion, we cannot rely on emulators as they are not accurate sometimes.

No, you don’t understand, the emulator showed exactly what you are seeing, it was a REAL Mac (mabook pro model 2015) using chrome that showed the screenshot I sent. That screenshot was sent by mY client and it’s not the first time it happens.

I do not know much about macs but u have noticed the margins and paddings work in a weird way (when set on automatic) on macs, same thing with height and width.

I have no idea what could it be, but this is like the 4th of 5th case I’ve had so far and all of them only have macs in common.

@mldarshana and I is using mac. We could not replicate the issue.

I am guessing that this is a browser cache issue in the person who have sent you the screenshot. I would recommend that the clear their browser cache or use Incognito mode and test the site again.
