Map marker shy

I have a map, with a custom marker image, which works fine when inside Pro: https://share.cleanshot.com/0FVKCqtg

Looking at the site as a regular user, the marker just won’t show up, if I wait a while sometimes it shows up. It’s there in the page source for the map.

Can you check this out? This is Pro 6.5.1.

Yes, I’ve also notice that the custom marker image shows up and sometime it doesn’t. I suspect that it has something to do with the map maker depreciation.

Hi, I’m using the Pro map element, can you ask @charlie to update your Pro theme? This is using your theme and your code, so I can’t fix this!

Hey Bill,

I have consulted with our developer regarding your concerns. We load the maps directly from Google. Consequently, any updates made by Google will automatically be reflected in our implementation.

With that said and after investigating it again, I suspect that it has something to do with your CDN. Please try temporarily deactivating your CDN and see if it fixed your issue.

Thanks @marc_a - it’s ShortPixel AI - I disabled it and the marker appears. I’ve raised a ticket with ShortPixel, and will let you know.
