Map Element Not Displaying

Hi,

I have a map (same Google Maps API) on a new website, but it its not showing in some places.

The lesser of the problems is that the map never shows in the admin / Cornerstone preview.

However, on one page (Memorials) the map is refusing to display and I can find no reason for it. I have even tried using a template of the map that works and it also does not display on the Memorials page.

A separate issue, if there are many map markers in one area, is it possible to have a “parent” marker which splits down into individual markers as you zoom in?

The map is not showing because you have inserted a double negative sign in your Longitude.

Now that the map is displaying, I am not getting the results I am hoping to see. I have a Looper Provider with a query to load all memorials from the post type “Memorial”. The map’s cell has a Looper Consumer. The map’s marker uses dynamic data to provide the latitude and longitude from the looper’s results. However, a new map is being displayed for each result. I had expected all markers to be shown on a single map. Can this be achieved?

Hi Christopher,

It seems that you have added the Looper Consumer to the Cell that was renamed as Map on your page. The Looper Consumer is the repeater, and that is why it repeats the elements inside it and Map are shown multiple time. The Looper Consumer has to be set into that element which one repeats, in your case i.e. Map Marker. Unfortunately, Map and Map Marker do not have the option to set as Looper Consumer. What you are trying to acheive here can’t be done through the Map element. If you still want it, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you to do the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called TOTAL CARE, where we offer small customizations.
