Manualy Edit sidebar

Hi

Is there a way to edit the sidbar with cornerstone For posts? Instead of widgets i would like to mnually add cornerstone elements. Maybe though somedifferent template?

What would the workaround be?

Thanks for writing to us.

Please note the default sidebar uses the Widget area where you will have to use the Widgets and WordPress Gutenberg default blocks in the sidebar, you can use it from WP-dashboard—>Appreance —> Widget

You may create a custom Widget Area as well. Please have a look at our doc to learn more about how to create a Widget area.

In case you want to create a custom sidebar where you don’t want to use widgets in the sidebar, I would suggest you go to the page and divide the column like this. You can add the cornerstone in that column. Please note it would not be controlled from the Sidebar, it can be managed from the page/post. Or you may create a Global block and use it in the page/posts.

You can follow the same process for the custom archive page or post details pages as well.
