Hello
I would like to know if is it mandatory to use the Pro Header when including h1 titles for pages?
I’m currently under the process of redesigning our website from scratch, and I’m confused with some design approaches:
Approach 1. Use Header for Hero Images and h1 title as evident from examples here and here.
Approach 2. Use the 1st section of the Content and use Headline element as the h1 level title on some pages as evident here
Here are some of my doubts that I would like to clarify:
-
Out of the above 2 approaches, which one is the recommended, so website doesn’t have any adverse SEO effects?
-
Is it possible to achieve the same look of the first approach using the second approach? Please note, background images are overflowed under the navigation bar.
-
I find the first method to be very repetitive as to change the title and background image of the header, I’ve to duplicate headers as many times as the no. of pages and assign them their dedicated header. This becomes somewhat tedious, even though I can use templates.
Hence, if the answer to the 2nd question is yes and the approach won’t have adverse effects on the SEO, I could simply set one Global Header site-wide and use Content Layouts to design headers for various pages. Thereby, dramatically decreasing my workflow to redesign the website and keep the database and website as light as possible.
It would be excellent if you could help me out with this.
Cordially
