Manage Licences: Licence unlocked but will not transfer

Hi There,

Ok so basically, the situation is that I had (past tense) two sites running pro and consequently two license keys purchased.
Someone hacked into the backend and destroyed my sites so I had to register new domain names and start from scratch.

I was able to transfer one license key from my manage apex account however, the second key will not transfer over.

One place where I gave my admin details over was in a secure note in this forum so I am reticent about releasing any information.

clearly if you navigate to www.peakyblindersbelfast.com (the site one key is registered to) there is clearly no website let alone pro.

Therefore, I wish to release the license from this site but; If you view the photos; I am not being allowed to do so.

Alaa,

As previously mentioned; my previous two websites were hacked and one of the places where I gave my ps and username out was on a secure note. What assurances can you give me that your people will protect my details. How many site administrators can then therefore access my website dashboard.

Hi Chris,

The correct procedure to do that would be like that:

  • Create a temporary admin account with a strong password.
  • Provide us with these information in a Secure Note.
  • Once we finish debugging this issue, you have to remove this account.

Of course it’s better to create a staging server that you can reproduce this issue on, then provide us with login credentials to this staging server.
