Making one column taller than another

Hi there

I’m using three columns on a page but I want to ‘accent’ the middle one by making that one larger. I know how to do it horizontally by just adjusting the row layout width, but I’m wondering if there is a way to make it taller, and extend past the other two columns vertically? I’ve messed around with the padding on the column and the row, but can’t work out a way to achieve this. I would really appreciate a solution that doesn’t involve any custom CSS, if at all possible.

Here is the screenshot of the part I want to change.
