Making classic slider NOT responsive

Hi, at the top of this page - https://nieuw.fitklub.nl/fitklub-veltum/ - I have a classic slider in one column and some content in the second column (see image).

What I’m trying to accomplish is that when the screen gets smaller the slider will keep stretching across the entire column, cropping the images on their left and right. As if the slider were in the background of the column, as it were… By default the slider just gets smaller but keeps its dimensions so you get half a column (see second image)

Is this at all possible?

Thanks for reaching out.
This is happening due to the Aspect Ratio of the image, the image width is set to 100% which makes the height automatically adjusted with the width which makes the image shorter in height.
I would suggest you set the Layout for one column in the Row from where the image getting shorter.

Thank you for understanding, I remember I also have this dilemma a long time ago, there is no efficient solution so I ended up doing what Tristup suggested above.
