i dont know why i just now got the notification that someone responded to the thread.
i am attaching the code i have for the mentioned la county page that cant load through cornerstone, so i end up making manual edits through the html tab.
i dont know how to upload the entire page html to you for you to see (as per the last thread response)

here is the link for viewing the cornerstone code that i have been using for the la county page.
i managed to make the changes to the page and then after that have not been able to load anything on the cornerstone side of the page. so i have been making changes to this text and cut/pasting into the html.

I tried to use the code you gave on my local installation but unfortunately, the Cornerstone does not understand that code. That code is not useful anymore.
By template, we did not mean the HTML code in the text editor. We meant the template functionality of the Cornerstone itself which generates a file with a .csl format:
But if you did not do that before changing the page using text mode I’m afraid you lost the chance to do it and you will not be ale to use the Cornrstone.

cornerstone must understand the code because its been using this code to show the page.

so i just went to a test page and uploaded/downloaded the la template (this is the template from the LAST time i could load the cornerstone page before i had to switch to html).
the page was having a hard time showing the cornerstone code. i could only “see anything” in skeleton mode. it doesnt even say there is a problem with showing the page, it just shows the page vs pic 2 with skeleton mode.
i stopped using this cornerstone in skeleton mode method because it was taking too long to load the page, make changes, and save those changes. i usually got a timeout and it stopped saving all the changes (despite that it started out saving the page regardless of showing a “error saving” message)
…totally confused on how this page is actually working.

I used the file and imported it into my local installation and it is working ok. But the problem is that the page is too long and there are a huge amount of the sections available. That is why it needs lots of resources to do changes and indeed it will be slow. In my case the preview shows but in loading mode and clicking on the elements brings the options to change:
I am afraid this will be inevitable even in the new version which is on the way as your page is too heavy to handle. And your server resources are limited and it seems that you have a low timeout time.
The only thing that I can think of is to make your server have much more PHP Memory Limit and increase the PHP Timeout to at least 300 seconds. You need to contact your hosting service provider. But even that might not work if you are on a shared hosting and the performance is low.
If I were you I would have a separate installation on my local machine where I can change the memory limit and stuff with no problem, then I would do my changes locally and save them as the csl template and import them on the server.
Unfortunately, there is no other way for you to this specific page.
