I have used visual composer for years and the ease of making a section fullwidth is just a click of a button. Want them to stack on top of eachother just another click. Make it full height. Just another click. It really is that easy.
I have been attempting to convert to conerstone as I exclusivly use Pro for my themes and I thought it would make my sites seamless by using two products from the same company. And conerstone is fully intergrated in PRO so really just the theme with built in customizer. This would also make my site a little more lightweight as It would allow me to drop the VC plugin altogether.
As I started playing with cornerstone every aspect of it is awesome. With the exception of one peice. For the life of me and no matter how many support forums I read here and elsewhere on the net. I can not get a section to go fullwidth with conerstone content builder.
While I am sure it could be done and I could request support from Themeco to show me what I am doing wrong. At this point for production sake. it is just easier to install VC and get the fullwidth function needed.
I was curious if others find the same difficulty in making the sections fullwidth within cornerstone? If so what solution are you using to overcome this issue?
I think it would be neat on the next version of PRO an Conerstone is to add a radio box or button that will just make it fullwidth with options for marginless and stacking of sections.
Please note I am fully aware that Conerstone has options for these and I have tried them all. The point here is that it is difficult. They are all over the place and you have to make changes in the section, row, and colum as well as the element at times to make it happen. And it works only if you get them all configured just right. To date I have yet to get there. I have got it to work a couple of times but it was not fully responsive. @media sizes would mess things up. So after learning how difficult it was I made the switch back to VC for now.
Cornerstone header and footer builders are without a doubt the best way to get your headers and footers going. These parts are flawless right now since the latest update.
What are you thoughts?
