Make Headline Elements Use Default Color

Hello,

in X-Theme I always set the color for my headlines in the options in an attempt to not having to set them manually.

However, when I use the new headline element, I always have to set this setting manually for it to work. The same goes for things like capitalization. I set it in the options so that all headlines are capitalized. But every time I use the headlines element, I have to manually tell the element to be capitalized.

I know that there are things like presets that you can load. But shouldn’t my settings in the theme options be the default settings for these items? How can I make it, so that I don’t have to set the headlines color and capitalization manually, when I place down a headline in Cornerstone?

Note: When I use the Classic Headlines the theme options apply to the headlines automatically unless I set something in the element to a different value. This is how I want the normal Headlines element to work.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!

V2 elements are independent of theme default style. That’s why the classic elements are still there.
The fact is V2 elements having lots of functionality to give freedom in designing and the Preset option is a great feature to make design consistent throughout the site. We are really sorry but that is how the V2 elements work. Except Preset, there is no other option to the apply theme style to V2 elements. You can use custom CSS which is not recommended.

If you want to use Theme default style you can anyway use the classic elements.

Hope this is clear!
