Make columns clickable

Hi Support,

I’ve had a read of all previous related questions on how to make columns clickable with JS but nothing seemed to work…

I’m doing a website - http://lawnmowershop.co.nz/ (pass to enter under construction page is lawn123)

The black banner has 4 columns with image/icons and text below it. I want to make those links to other pages. I thought making the columns clickable would be the best option but can’t seem to get it right.

Also, if I can change the color on hover it will be great! The first icon/image is an image which might have to change on hover, but the rest are theme icons.

Thanks in advance!

Hi There,

Please add the following code under Customizer > Custom > Global Javascript:

jQuery(document).ready(function($){
	$("#linked-column-1").wrap('<a href="http://lawnmowershop.co.nz/link-1/" />');
	$("#linked-column-2").wrap('<a href="http://lawnmowershop.co.nz/link-2/" />');
	$("#linked-column-3").wrap('<a href="http://lawnmowershop.co.nz/link-3/" />');
	$("#linked-column-4").wrap('<a href="http://lawnmowershop.co.nz/link-4/" />');
});
