Make button execute js-code

Hey,

I would like to use the button element to make a mailchimp popup appear.
So how can I please the mailchimp js code instead of just a plain url in the button element?

Hi @conte,

We do have CONTENT AREA MODAL element on the builder. Try to use this element for the popup function. Then on the content area, just add the mailchimp form code. If you currently have mailchimp poppup code, you need to generate another code that is just for form.

This article discuss another option. If you consider using this approach, you can use the button element available on the builder. Then go to Customize Tab > Add ID. Use this ID to trigger the popup.

Both options needs a little bit of coding. In case you are not familiar with it, you might need to consult a developer. Thank you for understanding.
