Make a section the child of another

Hello. I am not sure if this is something I can do with “X”, but there is a feature my client is asking for that I seem unable to do without writing all the code into content area elements. I am preferring to be able to do this using native “X” sections and elements. Please share your thoughts.

I have used the Header Builder to create a header, adding a navigation menu. Below the navigation, I added an additional Header Bar that has a yellow background and some textual content. With CSS, I have set the yellow bar to be invisible. When a user hovers over a specific menu item, in the navigation, I need the yellow bar and it’s text, to appear. Moving off the menu item would then make the yellow bar and text invisible again.

I can do this with html/css, by creating the navigation menu and the yellow bar with html, making the yellow bar a child element of the navigation bar; however, in “X” I know of no way to make the yellow bar a child of the navigation menu. Is this possible?

Michael

Hey Michael,

Regretfully, there’s currently no native feature in our products that can do that. That would currently need custom coding.

Thanks.

As I suspected. Thank you.

Thank you for your understanding
