MailPoet Premium Plugin Update

Hi,

From looking at previous posts on the subject, I’m aware that we have to wait for updates to extensions, but I am not clear on where and how often we receive these updates.

Do we have to manually initiate them or are they automatic? I have had the warning message “Your MailPoet Premium plugin is incompatible with the free MailPoet plugin. Register your key or purchase one now to update the Premium to the latest version.” for about a week now. Is there somewhere I can see the status on extension versions?

Hi Graham,

Thank you for writing in, we have just updated our MailPoet Premium extension to 3.0.81, 2 days ago. You should see a update notice on your MailPoet Premium plugin. If not, please navigate to Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button.

Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating

Is there somewhere I can see the update status on the latest available versions of each extension?

I can’t update using this method right now, and I’m guessing it’s because you haven’t pushed the updated version yet. From now on, should I not update the base plugin before making certain that the premium version update is already available?

Regretfully, we do not have a page where users could see the status as to when the update will be pushed. What you can do is compare your current version with our Version Compatibility page here: https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility

If you see an update notification but you can’t update, yes, that means we haven’t pushed the version yet so yes, you also should not update the base plugin if the compatible premium version is not available.
