Mailchimp lists are not populating on email forms

Hi, I have added my mailchimp API key to the email forms plugin, following all instructions. It says “Your site is now connected to your MailChimp account!”, but no lists appear in the area below, even after a refresh.

I have used the mailchimp API previously on older sites and use it on sites like Zapier etc with no problem. What am I doing wrong? Login details provided:

Thanks for writing in! I can confirm the issue on your end and I have tried to debug the issue with the given information, but I couldn’t.

On your end, can you try enabling WP_DEBUG on the wp-config.php which is under your WordPress installation and try testing email extension and see if you’re getting any errors.

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Also check your error logs on your server.

I have changed debug to true in wp-config.php but have no idea what to do next! How should i test the email extension? And would server error logs be on my GoDaddy dashboard?

Usually a debug.log file will be placed under your wp-content directory.

If that doesn’t help, please provide us with your FTP credentials to take a closer look.

I tried logging in to your hosting but I can’t see error log.
Though when I tried to refresh, your Mailchimp lists already appeared. Try to clear browser cache and check again.

Ah amazing. No idea what changed. Didn’t even have to clear browser cache. Maybe it just needed some time.
