Mailchimp for Woo Commerce Plugin

Hi,

I am seeking advice for the Mailchimp for Woo Commerce plug In as I am unsure whether there is a conflict with X theme. I have tried this plugin on 3 separate X theme sites/domains. Each time the products sync but the orders do not sync. Mailchimp have been as helpful as a chocolate tea pot (not very) and have suggested I change themes. I don’t want to change themes and losing all my styling etc.

I simply want my woo commerce sales to go into Mailchimp so the orders can receive automation emails about their purchase. Please can someone help me troubleshoot this or better still, allow me to give my log in credentials to a member of the team to investigate.

Thanks for writing in! Are you using WooCommerce MailChimp plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-mailchimp-integration/) ? This should work in X with no issues at all. Please check your WooCommerce settings and Mailchimp so that they will be in sync. Please check out the documentation right here: http://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-mailchimp

Thanks for updating in! This is a 3rd party plugin. We do not interfere any of the plugins so it should work in X with no issues. Please carefully review the installation instructions and make sure that it has the corrects settings to make it work. You can check the following articles:

It’s still not working. Any advice what to do next?
The Mailchimp team are saying it could be X. I’m getting no where and I have a product launch that currently can’t email customers.

I am able to check and it seems that your settings is fine. I can’t find any settings that might cause the issue. Since this is a third party plugin function we cannot provide a fix. I did some research regarding the issue and found the following:


The second link have the same issue with yours. The orders is not syncing and the user is using Twenty Seventeen one of the wordpress default theme. At this point it is best to consult the plugin developer as they have more understanding how the plugin works. Thank you for understanding.

They are not of any help. They say to disable the theme etc. But we do not want to lose what we have.

In cases like this, it is best to setup staging site and do testing there. This way it will not affect your live site. Also note to always save a backup of your site. Thank you.

I’m in an entrepreneurial office hub. I asked one of the developers to look at it. Apparently it’s because my website host didnt have “Soap” and “MB Strings” ticked. All sorted now but certainly something for other people having the issue.

For others: Look in the woo commerce system report. Anything with issues particularly soap and MB String.
