Mailchimp email optin form not functioning

API connected to mailchimp successfully. Form still won’t submit. Any idea why?

However it seems that your WordPress credentials are invalid when trying to login.
ERROR: The username or password you entered is incorrect.

Could you please try re-creating your email form and see if that helps. If that doesn’t help, please confirm with the correct information, so that we can look into your issue.

I recreated it and unfortunately it did not solve the issue.

One thing I noticed is that the server is running PHP 5.4, does this have anything that needs PHP 5.6 maybe?

In that case, can you try adding the following code into your wp-config.php file below the following line of code define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );.

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); 
if ( WP_DEBUG ) {
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
    @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
}

This will create a log file under your wp-content directory named as debug.log. When you test your form, it will record any PHP errors in your log file.
