Mailchimp Email Form - custom field

Hi Team,

We’re using “Email Forms” with MailChimp to build a form that has to capture the users birthdate.
The custom form field called Birthday is loaded from the standard option from the Mailchimp list fields.

Mailchimp uses a date format for this field DD/MM and we need a way to include this in the form for users to understand how to fill in this field. Email Forms pulls in the field correctly, but puts “Birthday” for both the field label and the placeholder text, giving a user no indication of what format is required, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit either.

  1. Can you help us to add either a new Label or Placeholder to indicate the input required?

  2. How do we make all fields required?

Hey @Deesign,

Regretfully, our Email Forms extension doesn’t have a feature that will do what you need. It would require custom development to achieve that so I’d recommend adding or using the Mailchimp form embed code instead. You need to custom CSS style it though.

Hi @Deesign,

It will also require some customization if you want all fields from Mailchimp to be required. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.
