Mail chimp

I want to create a subscription email list and am thinking of installing mail chimp and this pluggin is very popular. Do I just simply create a new subscription page, install the mailchimp pluggin and set it up or is there a different process with cornerstone. Please advise

You could do just that. Or, you could target the subscription form at specific points in time to the user like when they try to exit or after they’ve read half the content etc. using a plugin like ConvertPlug which comes free with X. The beauty of this is that it is dead simple to design and integrate with MailChimp or any other email marketing provider like say Active Campaign, if you choose to move on later and provides decent analytics as well.
