M.E. Calendar Not Showing Events After May

Hi there,

I have a couple of issues my client has picked up, can you help please?

  1. The M.E. Calendar on the site: http://www.trentmemorialhall.co.uk/events/ isn’t showing any events after May on the main events page. I’ve created a “Fete Test” event in July but can’t get it to show.

  2. The Events title tag in the address bar tab is showing ‘Events Archive’ — how can I change this to just ‘Events’? (see attached screenshot).

Thanks very much,
Matt

Hi @TheoryUnit,

Thanks for reaching out.

It appears to be a specific feature of the Masonry View

It appears on other views especially the Full calendar view. And since it’s full-view, it has pagination the loads all other events including the one after May.

Please utilize the other views if you wish to display unlimited event per view.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

Thanks for working that out, just a glitch then.

How about the second issue, can it be fixed?

Thanks for your help,

Hey Matt,

I double checked the MEC events page in my test site and I don’t have the Archive text after the Events so there must be something in your site that can override titles like Yoast SEO. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thanks.

Ah, brilliant, thank you Christian — you were right, Yoast had the word Archive written in the Calendar search appearance snippets.

Thanks again.
Matt

You’re most welcome! And sorry for partial answer, I thought it was part of the set view in MEC as it reset when I deactivated the plugins. Thanks!
