M.E Calendar does not match style of page

Am I right when saying I cannot use Cornerstone to insert a calendar as an element?
I have tried entering the shortcode, but it does not seem to take on the stylesheet and looks very basic. Could you help me?

I want it to be on the homepage but have removed it for now as it looks awful and I’m working on the website live.

Thanks.

Hi There,

Please provide us with your admin account so we can take a closer look.

Thanks.

Hey @yowga,

Cornerstone is enabled only for the Editors in your site so I just inserted the code in the default WordPress editor in the test page I created here

Regarding your problem:

I’m sorry but I could not give a specific response based on the description of your info.

If you have used a Blank No Container and it looks like this.

You need to add a background to your section. Or, you can use the Blank Container template instead.

X does not have styling options for MEC. For that, you’ll need custom CSS.

Thanks.
.

This looks so much better! Thanks. I can work with this.

What does "Cornerstone is enabled only for the Editors in your site " mean?

Thanks

Hi again,

It means with Cornerstone you can edit only editable pages and posts (normal pages and posts) for example you can’t edit blog page in Cornerstone.

Hope this helps!

Now I would like to add the shortcode to the homepage. When I add eg, an Envira gallery, there is a Cornerstone element that I can use. For ME Calendar, this does not exist. So I tried to just add the shortcode to the homepage under events. But then it does not take the css of the theme. Could you inform me on how this works?

Hi there,

What shortcode is added? I checked and they are all text. I added a shortcode as a test and it works.

Thanks!

I took my test out because the site is live.
But indeed, I tried again and now it works perfect.

Thanks

Glad to hear it!
