Is there a way to globally switch of Comments on both Modern Events Calendar events and also on normal posts?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to Settings > Discussion, then do not check the Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) and Allow people to post comments, this will disable the comments on your future post.

For the published posts, on the all posts panel select the edit on the Bulk Actions drop-down list. Then set to Do not Allow the Comments and Pings
